Kevin Hegg is the Director of Learning Technologies Infrastructure within JMU’s Center for Instructional Technology, where he has managed a group of IT professionals and software developers for over 15 years. Kevin consults regularly with faculty and students on research and teaching projects using a variety of digital tools and applications. Kevin’s passion is the application of Digital Humanities practices to all disciplines, including and especially disciplines outside of Arts and Letters. He revels in wrangling the complexity and chaos inherent in our rapidly changing technology environment. Kevin understands that technology without content is meaningless. He thrives at the intersection of technology and scholarship, where magic happens.
